Land Bank Under Threat: How to Avoid Litigation and the Loss of Land

The UAC invites agricultural producers, heads of agricultural enterprises, accountants, lawyers, land surveyors, and specialists responsible for working with the land bank to a webinar dedicated to the prolongation of land lease contracts, the pre-emptive right, and legal mechanisms for preserving the land bank.

Date: October 7

Time: 11:00–13:00

Format: online, Zoom

The issue of renewing land lease contracts remains critically important for agricultural producers. Mistakes in the choice of the mechanism for extending a contract, missed deadlines, incorrect document management, or the absence of contact with the owners of land plots can create risks for the stable operation of a farm and the preservation of the land bank.

During the webinar, the expert of the UAC legal advisory line, Viktoriia Kipriianova, will explain:

  • what new rules for renewing land lease contracts are in effect today and which relevant legal conclusions of the court agricultural producers should take into account;
  • under what conditions the automatic prolongation of a land lease contract is applied;
  • how the pre-emptive right works and how viable this institution is in 2026;
  • what to choose for renewing lease legal relations: a draft of a new contract or a supplementary agreement;
  • how to properly organize document management in order to reduce the risks of disputes with lessors;
  • how to act under conditions of martial law if it is necessary to renew legal relations with the owners of land plots with whom contact has been lost.

Participation in the webinar is free; the number of places is limited.

Prior registration is mandatory: https://forms.gle/R3PAxHiQctCPSBKh6
