UAC Experts Provided 2,250 Consultations to Agricultural Producers from 24 Regions of Ukraine

Experts of the Ukrainian Agri Council (UAC) have processed 2,250 requests from agricultural producers from 24 regions of Ukraine and provided free consultations within the UAC legal advisory line, which operates in partnership with the international humanitarian organization Mercy Corps.

The most relevant topics of requests for farms operating under conditions of martial law, personnel shortages, and constant changes in legislation are accounting, reservation and criticality of enterprises, as well as land issues.

In particular, regarding accounting and administrative record-keeping, 790 consultations were provided for 381 farms. Agricultural producers need professional clarifications regarding record-keeping, the preparation of documents, and practical situations that arise in the daily operation of enterprises.

Regarding issues of reservation, criticality, and military registration, 685 requests from 356 farms were processed. The issues of retaining key workers, confirming the status of a critically important enterprise, and complying with military registration requirements remain among the most sensitive for the agricultural sector, especially during the period of active field work.

Another 241 requests from 162 farms concerned land issues. In particular, agricultural producers make inquiries regarding lease relations, the use of land plots, the preparation of documents, access to land, and other situations that require legal support.

"Behind every request stands the story of a specific farm. For some, it is a question on which the further operation of the enterprise depends; someone needs to quickly consult on whether they are correctly submitting reports or arranging the reservation of workers; someone else needs to look into land issues or the conditions of state support in more detail. Thanks to the UAC legal advisory line, agricultural producers from all over Ukraine receive professional clarifications that help them continue to work and not lose opportunities important for their farms," noted the project manager, legal adviser of the UAC, Ruslan Kalnytskyi.

The project has been operating since December 2025 and covers the entire territory of Ukraine, with the main focus on the regions most affected by the war: the Donetsk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Odesa, Kyiv, Poltava, Cherkasy, and Kirovohrad regions.
