On August 25, 2026, the Board of the NBU, by Resolution No. 97, implemented the recommendations of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and introduced corresponding amendments to Resolution of the Board of the NBU of May 14, 2019, No. 67 "On Establishing Exceptions and (or) Specifics for the Introduction of Maximum Settlement Terms for Operations for the Export and Import of Goods and on Amendments to Certain Regulatory Legal Acts."

What exactly is changing for agricultural producers is explained by experts of the Ukrainian Agri Council, within the framework of a project to support Ukrainian agricultural producers from affected regions, which the UAC implements in partnership with the international humanitarian organization Mercy Corps.

The changes concern operations for the export of goods classified under UKTZED codes 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004, 1005, 1201, 1205, 1206 00, 1507, 1512, 1514, and 2306.

For such export operations, the following maximum settlement terms are provided:

• 120 calendar days — for operations carried out from July 12, 2024, to June 30, 2026;
• 150 calendar days — for operations carried out from July 1, 2026, to August 31, 2027;
• 120 calendar days — for operations carried out from September 1, 2027.

Thus, for the export of certain types of agricultural products carried out in the period from July 1, 2026, to August 31, 2027, the maximum settlement term is temporarily increased to 150 calendar days.

The list of goods affected by the changes includes grain, oilseeds, vegetable oils, oilcake, and other residues from the processing of vegetable fats and oils. In particular, these concern wheat, rye, barley, oats, corn, soybeans, rapeseed, sunflower, soybean, sunflower, safflower, cottonseed, rapeseed, or mustard oils, as well as oilcake and other solid waste obtained during the extraction of vegetable fats and oils.
