Modern cultivation of sunflower and rapeseed requires a comprehensive approach to the selection of hybrids, plant protection technologies, and effective crop management. Climate change, the spread of new races of sunflower broomrape, the development of fungal diseases, and the need to increase the economic efficiency of production are prompting farmers to implement modern technological solutions.

During the webinar, leading experts from the companies BASF, Corteva Agriscience Ukraine, and KWS will share practical experience in growing sunflower and rapeseed, talk about modern protection technologies, the specifics of hybrid selection, plant morphoregulation, factors of successful pollination, and technological solutions that help to obtain high and stable yields.

The following issues will be addressed during the webinar:

Clearfield® and Clearfield® Plus technology as an effective tool for controlling weeds and sunflower broomrape;

• the importance of sunflower plant morphoregulation for forming high and stable yields;
• modern approaches to growing sunflower and effectively using the genetic potential of hybrids;
• the specifics of selecting winter rapeseed hybrids to reduce the impact of the most aggressive fungal diseases;
• technological solutions for safe and efficient rapeseed harvesting;
• KWS sunflower breeding, factors of successful pollination, and productivity formation.
