Small agricultural producers in the Chernihiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions will be able to receive vouchers to purchase seeds and mineral fertilizers for the autumn sowing campaign.

This refers to an initiative of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, implemented jointly with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) with the financial support of the Government of Norway. The main conditions for participation in the program are explained by experts of the Ukrainian Agri Council (UAC) within the framework of a project to support Ukrainian agricultural producers from affected regions in partnership with the international humanitarian organization Mercy Corps.

The total budget of the program is 1.1 million US dollars. Support will be available to 550 farmers in two regions, and the size of one voucher will be 2,000 US dollars in hryvnia equivalent.

Farmers, individual entrepreneurs, and legal entities that are registered in the State Agrarian Register (SAR) and cultivate from 10 to 150 hectares of officially registered agricultural land in the Chernihiv or Dnipropetrovsk regions are invited to participate.

Applications can be submitted through the SAR until June 29, 2026. The option to submit an application is expected to become available soon.

During the selection process, priority will be given to farms headed by women, given their role in preserving agricultural production, employment, and economic activity in rural communities.

Only one application is accepted from each legal entity or individual entrepreneur. Owners of several farms can receive only one voucher under the program.

Agricultural producers who have already received similar support from the FAO in 2026 cannot participate in this program again. In this way, resources should be directed to farmers who have not yet used this support instrument.

To participate in the program, agricultural producers should check their registration and the relevance of their data in the SAR. If necessary, they can use the instructions for registering in the State Agrarian Register, as well as the instructions for logging into the account and editing information in the SAR.
